 Manufactured 1938   Sold and  Registered 23 April 1941 Battleship Grey when sold then later black eventually white as wedding car

 1st Owner Dr Stephen  Grange Askey  (Royal Army Medical Corps, 10 Brit Stationary Hop ex Gallipoli WW1) living @ 2 Balham Park Road, London until 1955. **To buy a vehicle in WW2 you needed to be a medic/military or similar. ** The car was intended to have a major service to adjust the shims and steering which was never done on this car until I bought it although adjusted frequently  (The two year service would have been 1943 ie  during the Battle of Britain)
